I've been tagged!

I've been tagged by the lovely and talented Tracy Nuskey-Dodson of The Vintage Sister Studio . Apparently, being tagged is a little like a chain letter for bloggers. Here are the rules:

1. Link to the person that tagged you.
2. Post the rules on your blog.
3. Share six non-important things/habits/quirks about yourself.
4. Tag six random people at the end of your post by linking to their blogs.
5. Let each random person know they have been tagged by leaving a comment on their website.

Here are my six things:

1. I am in love with Alexander Hamilton (can you tell?) and collect books about him.
2. I love cameos.
3. My family's bloodline dates back to the 1500s in America.
4. I have two daughters 18 years apart.
5. I love to go antiquing.
6. I love Jane Austen books and movies.

Wow Nina! How cool to have such pedigree! I always wished I was born on the east coast and belonged to some historic family. But alas, we are just shanty irish come over durin the famine! P.S. I think AH is cool too, but I am in love with John Adams!hehe!I'm also extremely intrigued by James Madison. What a fascinating guy he was!

Between other projects, I am planning to make John Adams, Thomas Jefferson and James Madison. I've got Hamilton, as you see, and am working on Washington, who is finished except for his coat! I want to create the entire first cabinet, which was Washington, Hamilton, Jefferson and Adams. But we must have Madison, too, if for no other reason than to accompany his poor wife, who I've also made!

We visited Mount Pelier this summer and, although it's under construction (they're restoring it to the way it was when the Madisons lived there--it was greatly changed by the Duponts), but we got to tour it with just the lathe on the walls. It was amazing to stand in the room where Madison drafted the Constitution and look out his window at the same view he enjoyed!

Can you tell I'm a history buff?
