This weekend I decided to take a crack at reproducing a beautiful china head doll I found on E-bay. I wish I could buy the original, but I just can't afford her.Here is a picture of the original. I'm no doll expert, but the head style seems to be from the 1840s to 1860s, judging from the hairstyle. But the dress is definitely 1770s in every detail! She even has little leather boots with beadwork on the laces.
I'll post pictures of my in-progress "inspired" reproduction when I get some taken.
