I haven't had much time to post the past couple of weeks. Finally got a contract for my "other" job and have been shoveling out paying work! Me and the fam are heading to Williamsburg tomorrow to spend a Fabulous Fourth with the Fife & Drums, Fireworks and the Founding Fathers! Emma and I will be dressing up, so I've also spent the past week getting our costumes together. And speaking of Independence Day, I just heard this morning that I've been "verified" by the National DAR! This means I'll become an official member when the group meets next week. Hooray!
George Washington is almost done, but I don't think he'll be going to Williamsburg with us. We are taking Felicity and Elizabeth, our American girls from Williamsburg (that's where they're from in their stories). I made them both silk dressing gowns (bathrobes to us Americans) over the weekend from a pattern I designed myself. They came out quite nice!
Lots to do today to get ready for the trip!! Keep in touch!!
