Jefferson Embraces a New Spirit of Cooperation

Apparently, just the threat of rough treatment has convinced Jefferson to embrace a new spirit of cooperation. Remember how he fled into the woods of Richmond when the British marched on the Governor's Palace? Or, knowing Jefferson's penchant for finery, it was more likely the promise of a pair of new silk breeches and a shirt of fine Irish linen, all meticulously hand-crafted from adapted period patterns. Either way, he's agreed to be more cooperative for the moment. But more rebellious behavior could be on the horizon. This morning, I caught him reading the Huffington Post with a disturbing look in his eye! Never trust a revolutionary!!
