We're leaving for the show in two days! Yikes!! All the dollies and their props are just about ready to make the trip. I've got one or two tags to finish today and a little more nipping and tucking -- and we must photograph them all before the show.
On Sunday, I attempted a bum roll to go under my polonaise gown. At first, it was huge. It looked like I was wearing an inner tube under my dress! So I tore it apart and recut it. It still looks huge in the back, but I don't know if I have the time (or inclination) to redo it a third time. I told Dan that I'll be known as the dollmaker with the huge bum. LOL.
With any luck, I'll have some pictures to post (finally) of the show dollies before I go! (Footnote: Jefferson came out quite well in the end.)
