George Washington Redux
Here's the Washington I've been working on this week. Not quite finished, but nearly. He still needs buttons and pockets on his coat (and Martha). George wears a shirt of quilter's cotton trimmed with antique lace, a duck-egg blue waistcoat trimmed with glass buttons drop front breeches and a coat -- all created from period patterns. He's about to go for a ride around Mount Vernon on his favorite horse, Nelson, so he's donning his riding boots and a full-length wool cloak, also from a period example (with double collar and shoulder cape).

OMG he is amazing. Purely amazing!
Thanks, Dani. That's very nice of you to say! Thanks for stopping by and taking a look at my little people.
